Telegraf ("we", "our", or "the app") is an unofficial messaging client based on the official Telegram API. This Privacy Policy describes how your information is collected, used, and handled when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect and Process

To provide complete messaging functionality, Telegraf may request access to and process certain data:

Contacts: With your explicit permission, the app accesses your device's contact list solely to help you connect with other users and synchronize your contacts. We do not store, sell, or share your contact list with third parties.
Messages, Media, and Files: All messages, media, voice notes, and documents you send or receive are transmitted and processed directly through Telegram's official cloud servers using end-to-end or client-to-server MTProto encryption. Telegraf does not intercept, read, or store your private communications on any independent external servers.
Device and Technical Information: We may collect non-personally identifiable technical information, including your device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address, and network state.
Advertising Identifiers (AAID): The app processes standard advertising identifiers (Google Advertising ID) to deliver and measure advertisements via authorized ad networks.

2. How We Use the Information

We use the collected information strictly for the following purposes:

Providing core messaging and social networking features.
Synchronizing contacts, dialogs, media, and channels across your devices.
Delivering push notifications about incoming messages and events.
Maintaining app stability, diagnosing technical bugs, and monitoring performance.
